As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. To help you, I will draw upon my training as a clinical psychologist, as a health educator, and as a professional coach in organizations such as NASA.  My patients have told me that they have enjoyed working with me as I use everyday language, am approachable, and have a sense of humor.

I can help you or your family when your old coping strategies don't seem to work.  I've coached parents and children on how to learn more effective ways of communicating their needs and expectations while reducing the intensity of conflict in their lives.  I have worked with people as they forged their identity based on their awareness of gender identity and/or sexual orientation.  Finally, I have helped people who were incarcerated learn how to become better parents, manage anger and conflict, and find meaning in their lives while facing life imprisonment.
